Full description:
The site is situated on the south side of Tisno peninsula (near the island Murter), in Tisno (28km from Sibenik), and is located at a distance of approx. 10m from the sea, secluded and surrounded by greenery. Total area of 6278m2, access to the plot is enabled over the gravel road at the northeastern side of the plot.
The design and conception of the vacation house, emerged as a result of the shape, position and morphology of the plot, it’s relation to the surrounding plots and the access road, urban determined dimensions, the appearance of the surrounding area, and considering the high quality disposition of space and the shape of the upcoming building.
Taking all of the above into consideration, a one-storey vacation house has been design, on a slope, falling to the southwest.
Access to the building for vehicles and pedestrians has been created as a logical extension of the access road on the northeastern side of the plot.
Driveway lead to the parking lot (4 cars) located on the northeastern side of the building. From there a staircase leads to the entrance located on the ground floor.
There is a living room with a kitchen and a dining area on the ground floor, directly connected to a spacious partially covered terrace in the southwest, and thus fully opened to the plot (“extended living room”). From a living room, through a corridor, there is an access to a double bedroom with bathroom (master bedroom), another double bedroom and a shared bathroom. Both bedrooms are maximally opened to the partially covered terrace and directly connected with it.
Height elevations of the house respect the morphology of the terrain, so the building is partially sunken in the ground. The roof of the house has been designed as a walkable roof (terrace).
Orientation of the house, as well as openings of certain areas of the house have been designed to the optimal parts of the world with regard to insulation and other climate conditions and the situation on the plot (the view of the sea).
Through architectural design and intended high-tech, emphasis is placed on low energy imperative – building orientation, enhanced thermal insulation, photovoltaic cells etc.
