Luqa is a town located in the Maltese South. It is a very old town, and it is densely populated. Luqa's main attraction is the parish church dedicated to St. Andrew. The town holds its traditional feast dedicated to their patron saint on the first Sunday of July, every year. Luqa also was the home of famous inventor and clock maker Michelangelo Sapiano.
