This 4-bedroom house has a delightful walled garden and is just a short distance from the riverside market town of Jarnac

Ground floor
The house can be access via a number of external doors. From the garden to the front a door opens to the kitchen (6.4m x 3.4m = 23m2) with tiled floor, exposed stone walls and exposed beam ceiling. To the back of the kitchen a door opens to the dining room (6m x 3.5m = 21m2) with terracotta tiled floor, large fireplace, exposed beam ceiling and a part-glazed door to the terrace next to the kitchen.
To the far end of the dining room a short flight of steps rises up to the sitting room (9.5m x 4m = 38m2) with wooden floor, exposed beam ceiling and a part-glazed door to the garden.
To the side of the dining room a door opens to a hallway, off which is a shower room (shower, wash-basin and WC). To the left of the hall a door opens to a bedroom (5.3m x 3.6m = 19m2) with tiled floor and a pair of glazed doors that open to a courtyard to the rear of the house. Also off the hall is a laundry room with access to a small independent courtyard which has its own access to the little lane.
First floor
A flight of stairs rises from the hall to a landing, off which are two bedrooms (5m x 3.5m = 17.5m2 and 3.5m x 3m = 10.5m2) as well as a shower room (shower, twin wash-basins and WC).

To the front of the house is an attractive walled garden planted with mature trees including a number of palm and olive trees and next to the kitchen and dining room is a paved terrace, shaded by a vine - all this gives a real Mediterranean feel. To the rear of the house is a large gravelled parking area.
