Twenty minutes from the coast, handy for the fishing port of Garrucha, and the now very popular seaside resort of Mojacar with its scenic beaches clear waters and the spectacular Pueblo Indalo, a pretty village built into the mountainside. It is an area which has all kinds of facilities very nearby, such as Hospitals, shops, post office, chemist, schools and the bigger towns of Huercal-Overa and Albox. The cities of Almeria and Murcia, each of them with their own airport, are just an hour away.

The coast with its beautiful paradise views is just a 20 minute drive. Albox has a thriving Library and information center for Ex-pats, called the Almanzora Group of Friends, which has some five hundred members.
