It is an area which has all kinds of facilities very nearby, such as Hospitals, shops, post office, chemist, schools and the bigger towns of Huercal-Overa and Albox. The cities of Almeria and Murcia, each of them with their own airport, are just an hour away.

The coast with its beautiful paradise views is just a 20 minute drive. Albox has a thriving Library and information center for Ex-pats, called the Almanzora Group of Friends, which has some five hundred members.
