One of a kind Tartan 41′, I.O.R. (International Offshore Racing) designed by Sparkman Stephens she was a former champion offshore racing yachts as \"Jano\" out of Santa Monica Yacht club, in Marina del Rey, L.A., CA. and upgraded by the current owners into a custom sailing cruiser now in Mazatlan, on the west coast of Mexico.

She is safely and easily handled by a couple or single handed, she likes to go fast and can get you to your next destination quicker by pointing as close as 30 degrees to the wind. She comes fully loaded to cross oceans or enjoy as afternoon sailing. All pertinent electronics including a new Raymarine Autopilot, new Hypalon Walker Bay Dinghy with outboard & wheels, new standing and running rigging, switlick, 6 person life-raft, Yanmar 30 hp which easily motors her in all conditions, Solar panels on arch freeing you from needing to plug into the dock to make ice in the freezer.

Many spares and additional backups are aboard for essential systems. She comes with a full complement of tools, lines, blocks and toys including 2-person Kayak, S.U.P. (Stand up paddle board, built in Hookah system with 2x60 ft hoses and more.

She was built on the Great Lakes with custom requirements from the original owners to race offshore which included all the racing sails and spars. She has 6′2″ head room below decks to accomodate the racing crew of 8 men.

 For comfort of living and cruising aboard we have a 2x custom-built double beds,1 in the aft starboard quarter and in the bow a V-berth with plenty of head room. A 3x burner propane oven and stove top, a custom-built full refrigerator box with a frigoboat refrigerator with freezer. We had custom perfomance sails made by Tony Morelli, on the bow a Harken roller fuller with jib, and mainsail with a stack-pack cover system. And we have an asymmetrical spinnaker with dousing cover we call \"Big Red\" which easily handled by 2- people. When you fly \"Big Red\" or just sailing on the jib, you′ll see how much this yacht loves to sail, she makes sailing fun for all aboard. Especially when the dolphins are swimming along-side. She also has steerage way in the lightest breeze.
