In 2015, Sparkman and Stephens redesigned the companion way to allow direct access from the cockpit to the aft cabin, which eliminats crossing the bridge deck to get below and adds more space and a microwave to the galley. She also boasts  electric winches, DC generator, and a watermaker. The Swan 44, is the finest offshore cruiser of this size that S&S ever designed.
