Our client is looking to recruit an Accounting Specialist on a 6 month contract basis who will report to the Head of Financial Planning and Analytics. The successful appointee will work closely with Finance management and the Business management to help meet the various needs of the Finance function and the wider Business that they support

Responsibilities :-

Time recording and profitability analyses

Client profitability reporting

Revenue analyses

Development of processes and reporting to meet the changing needs of a dynamic business

Business Partnering to support the business in making the most of the analyses we provide

Tracking and managing the Service Department Allocations for the business to assist the business in achieving budget

Assisting with the maintenance of the budget and forecasts in the budgeting system

Ad hoc reporting as requested by the Head Financial Planning and Analytics

Skills:

Candidates should have a recognised accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent) and should have a minimum 5 years of relevant experience

The ability to perform complex analysis and derive appropriate solutions to challenges is key. Candidates should be highly numerate and have good analytical skills along with attention to detail and a focused approach to ensure the accurate delivery results on time

Experience with complex group structures and multiple business line reporting is highly desirable. As is exposure to the management of budgets and forecasting

The appointee must have strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience of Microsoft Access, Oracle, Essbase, Longview (Khalix), SQL coding would be desirable

In addition, they should be professional, good communicators, team players and be comfortable working with individuals at all levels internally and externally
