Celleno, originally an ancient, medieval village lies 90 km from Rome and Siena, 150 km from Florence, 20 km from Viterbo and the famous spa 'Terme dei Papi' and 25 km from Orvieto. It is in easy reach of the beaches of Lake Bolsena and Montefiascone. The old centre of the village has been mostly abandoned with a new centre springing up around it, having all necessary amenities. It has a ruined castle and a large medieval convent which has been recently restored. Every year it is host to the Cherry Festival.
