JOB TITLE

FAÇADE ENGINEER (HONG KONG)

Opportunity exists with a first class Engineering Consultancy working on current large scale projects in Asia. You will be involved in prestigious and innovative design projects and delivering ground breaking engineering solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be responsible for the conceptual designs to finalized detailed plans
Provide engineering support at the design stage
Liaise with Architects, Structural Engineers and Main Contractors
Coordinate drawings and plans and checking structural calculations
Knowledge in materials eg, steelworks, metal cladding, curtain walls, glass walls, precast concrete, etc
In depth knowledge regarding structural, thermal detailing, fabrication, waterproofing
Ensure designs are to Clients requirements and meet safety and construction standards
Coordinate and monitor the progress and quality of works.

A long established history and rapid commercial growth, our Client has developed their expertise and knowledge across worldwide networks. They have been responsible for the design of many landmark projects, pioneering solutions and delivering an unmatched service.

Sectors they cover are Environment, Transport, Infrastructure, and Building to Civil projects, working from offices in Europe, Australia, Middle East and Asia.

Our Client is now looking for a Façade Engineer to join the team in China & Hong Kong, due to the increased workload. They are looking to expand the team in Asia due to the increased amount of projects.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Degree in Structural / Architect / Civil Engineering or related discipline
Minimum 3 years relevant FAÇADE experience
Fluent in English and Cantonese, Mandarin would be advantageous
Knowledgeable in computer design software ie, AutoCAD
Forward thinker, ability to adapt to work environment, excellent time management skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Must have experience in HONG KONG.
