The house stands on its hill miraculously suspended on a beautiful overlook; surrounded by natural vegetation of the Versilian hills, overlooking the plain below, and the sunset gleam of Puccini's lake (Massaciuccoli), the canals, the sea. On clear winter days, you can see the islands of Gorgona and Capraia, and sometimes the distant outline of Corsica.

The building, an old farm probably used in ancient times by pilgrims along the Via Francigena, presents a clear and simple construction, part of the Tuscan tradition. The restructuring did not alter anything, in line with the choices of great sobriety and simplicity, rather careful in choosing colors and materials that would underline the exceptional inclusion in a hilly landscape and lake and sea altogether. (Hence the decision to lacquer the roof in white beams, cover the floor of the kitchen and dining room with hand painted glass tiles, typical of the Mediterranean, and to equip the terrace of a mosaic floor tiles, made by hand and designed with the same colors).

The house develops over three floors; access from the road is at the intermediate level, where you will find entrance, dining room, kitchen, living room, terrace. On the first floor, there are three bedrooms and two bathrooms; on the floor below, a bedroom-living room made unusual by a spur of rock left in sight, and entrance to the garden. A bathroom with shower completes the comfort of this room, to be used also separately from the rest of the house. A local thermo-laundry and a large wine cellar are located on the right and left of the room.

The property includes a garden, partially fenced, of 400 square meters, with jasmine, bamboo, English roses and in a broader space, along the slope of the mountain, about one hectare of olive grove and coppice.
