Built in 1789, this modest looking country cottage reveals hidden delights! The house has been in the same family since it was built and has been lovingly cared for. You will appreciate the insistence on keeping the authentic spirit of the house and the attention to detail in the furnishings. You will find terracotta floor tiles, oak beams and timber frames throughout.

The house consists of a large entrance hall, sitting room with open fireplace, a fitted kitchen with open fireplace, three bedrooms and two shower rooms with toilets. At the end of the corridor you have access to a store room which leads through to the garage.

This delightful house is waiting for you! All of the furniture is included in the price. You can control the central heating or hot water by telephone so that you are comfortable when you arrive. Even the sit-on lawn mower is provided. Just bring your suitcase!

Saint Elix d'Astarac is a small, rural village which benefits from a magnificent communal forest, rolling countryside with footpaths for family walks and an attractive 14th century church. Every year the village organizes a fete in May, a snail feast in August and various concerts as well as an exhibition of paintings in September.

The nearest shops are in Saramon with its leisure centre or in Simorre with its fortified abbey; a five minute drive in either direction.

Toulouse and the Pyrenees are within easy distance.
