HARBOUR MASTER, Marina Operation

As Harbour Master you are accountable for efficient and effective delivery of operational objectives and project deliverables. You are accountable for the operation of the Marina, need to ensure a high standard is maintained, resources optimally utilized and that projects are implemented within budget.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Smooth running of the marina and clubhouse operation.
• Traffic Controller to ensure smooth traffic flow and account for both inbound and outbound movement.
• Safety of all sea vessels and marina facilities and assets.
• All equipment to be operated in a safe and efficient manner – proper record to be maintained.
• Basin to be free from floating debris and schedule daily cleaning
• Activities of sports center to be coordinated
• Meetings conducted regularly
• All documents to be executed as per SOP. To study and implement measures/control and management operation.
• Develop and implement customer service program for the crew.
• Manage and ensure compliance of energy conservation and water clean act.
• Maintain cohesive working environment and undertake tasks as directed.

PRE-REQUISITES:

• Diploma/Degree in Marine Management or Hospitality
• 5 Years experience in hospitality industry and administration.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Good communication, writing & interpersonal skills
