Aqua Marine consists of 105 spacious 2 bedroom apartments and duplex penthouses, all finished to the highest of standards. This is in fact where we, the Rivermead Global Team, stay when we are visiting Turkey on business.

The gated resort has three communal swimming pools, suitable for both adults and children alike, landscaped gardens, a pool bar/cafe, 24 hour security and a free shuttle bus to and from the centre of Altinkum and the beach running several times each day.

Didim is now officially on the investment map worldwide, the main reason is the new marina, opened in 2009 by the Turkish prime minister for shipping traffic, now the largest in Turkey, with the capacity to take 1,200 vessels, wet and dry dock, the large commercial areas are due to open this season, with very high class designer and brand name outlets offering. Jewellery, sports wear, clothing, coffee shops, beach club bar restaurant, and yacht club, all within the setting and atmosphere expected in a marina environment.

If you are into history then within and surrounding Didim there are many historical sites to visit, the main site in Didim is the Apollo Temple, which is nearly 3000 years old, it is located at the top of the town, it is a very popular attraction, the area is soon to be closed to vehicles and will be accessible by pedestrians only, this area is the original old town of Didyma, plans to build a museum and cultural centre are being worked on, as still they are discovering more ruins and human remains outside the temple walls, so this is an area we need to protest for future visitors to enjoy.
