Sales Manager

Are you a talented, self-motivated individual with a sales background? Are you able to lead a professional team?

Our client is an international chemical company. They have a global reach and currently are headquartered in Singapore. Our client provides patented ingredients for different household and personal products. Our client is looking for a dynamic and experienced sales manager to join their international team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist in the creation of 3 year sales plan and budget alongside the VP and Director
• Ensure Sales targets are reached and are reviewed regularly
• Manage relevant sales networks and contacts in industry
• Increasing sales and gross margin by staying inline with set objectives and strategic plans.
• Asserts autonomy and authority on pricing and margin decisions
• Target Key customers and maintain relationship
• Manage the sales team by setting targets and objectives as well as monitoring performance, creating bonus schemes and assisting on
pay reviews
• They must also try to identify training needs of their team

• Liaise with Global sales Managers, Directors, VPS, MD’s, Customer Care, Purchasing department and customers.
• Follow market trends and see which indicators will impact future performance.
• Manage market territory
• Is able to give commercial guidance on product development and product support.
• Improve the efficiency of sales procedures and systems.

REQUIREMENTS
• BA/BSc Degree in Relevant discipline
• Previous Sales experience is necessary.
• Cultural awareness and understanding of differences
• Market knowledge of Chemical Industry
• Interpersonal skills
• Multi-Lingual preferred
• Negotiation skills
• Be able to work in a high pressure environment
• Be able to think fast and problem solve
