Senior Project Coordinator (Oil & Gas)

Our client is one of the leading global companies in the Oil and Gas services industry. Over 50 years in the industry and 23 offices worldwide, our client has an impressive customer portfolio, which is constantly growing. They are looking for motivated Design Engineer to join their dynamic team!

KEY ROLES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

Roles:

- Assist in deciding on the location for installation work.

- Review and approve material requisition form.

- Approve preliminary/ final technical documents for customer.

- Authorize to raise any purchase requisition to obtain any accessories and installation materials which are not chargeable and required in order to ensure timely completion of any additional work.

- Conduct site inspection and ensure that all the works done are to customer’s satisfaction.

- Supervise filling of quality records to ensure that the records are easily retrievable.

- Implement solutions to prevent quality problems

- Approve preliminary/ final technical documents for customer.

- Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels for equipment service quality, safety related matters and product non-conformity.

Responsibilities
- Ensure orderly records of all the work schedules and proper filing systems and documentations (exp: repair receipts, service reports, quotations, inspection report etc)
- Co-ordinate the type of approval activities for new equipment.
- Provide technical backup to Senior Project Engineers, Project Engineers and Project Technicians.
- Assist System Integration Manager in maintaining the test equipment calibration system
- Handle customer inquiries & complaints
- Handle quotation and reports for customers.
- Co-Ordinate production and project work schedule with customers and shipyards
- Liaise with sub-contractors, customers and other related authorities to ensure completion of projects within the timeline.
- Coordinating and maintaining a schedule for all project and service works for all the service personnel.
- Coordinate & allocate assignments to personnel and Subcontractors.
- Assist in planning, tracking and reporting on work progress.
- Develop strong customer relationship & build customer loyalty through consistent delivery of error-free & timely service to meet customers; needs & wants.
- Conduct risk assessment of Strategic and project management factors facing the assigned project.
- Work together with internal cross-functional departments to resolve issues and perform continuous improvement actions.
- Responsible for training, developing and imparting skills, knowledge & capabilities to the Personnel.
- Organize and conduct Kick Off meeting upon award of project.
- Understand clients and authority requirements so as to ensure expectations are achievable.
- Monitors and regulates budget in pre-empting cost overflow.
- Identify and raise potential risks and problems during entire phase of the project.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the System integration/assistant Manager.

BACKGROUND:

Our Client is a multinational oil and gas company with offices in over 20 countries throughout the world. Our Client is certified by ISO 9001 Quality Management System, our client provides Design & Engineering, Installation, supply and Commissioning of key systems to Marine & Onshore/Offshore markets.

PRE-REQUISITES:

- ITE /Diploma/Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Communication or Marine Engineering with 5/4/ 3 years of related working experience
- OHSAS 18001 knowledge is a plus
- Strong Presentation and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills preferred
