JOB ROLE

SITE ENGINEER

An international main contractor with operations across Australia, South East Asia, Middle East, Europe and Canada, covering a range of sectors in Building, Transportation, Mining and Water utilities.

They have won one of the major infrastructure projects in Hong Kong and are requiring Engineers with the attitude to succeed and accomplish obstacles/challenges to work on their prestige project.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Reporting to Project Manager and liaise with consultants
- Preparing cost estimates and materials for Project Manager
- Preparation of contracts and specifications for engineering and construction services
- Reporting investigations on site
- Assist and coordinate the project to ensure completion is on schedule
- Liaising with Architects, Planners and Engineers
- Analyzing samples and surveying work
- Monitoring quality control and assurance programs for all projects

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

- Degree/Higher Diploma in Engineering Construction or related
- Minimum 5 year work experience in which must have large-scale structural concrete works
- Good people skills to liaise and supervise a team of workers
- A strong mathematical, science and engineering technology skills
- Ability to plan, coordinate, and conduct work efficiently & effectively
- Adaptable to a dynamic multicultural environment
- Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese)
- Can work under pressure and to tight deadlines
