TUNNEL DESIGN ENGINEER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide technical design and support with regards to the delivery of tunnel and shaft projects

• Liaise and coordinate works with all parties within the project

• Supervise site investigations, monitoring and instrumentation, involved in risk assessment also

• Understand E&M and environmental requirement in tunnel design, write reports, specifications and produce drawings

• Tunnel design experience in soft ground, rock and mix ground conditions. Good understanding of soil or rock mechanics.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors or higher degrees in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering

• Have experience in rock tunnel design and soft ground

• Must have tunneling projects

• Good communication, interpersonal skills & excellent project skills

• Highly self-motivated, good working attitude with a high level of professionalism and integrity
