Designed by Robert K. Johnson, the Com-Pac 19 offers berths for four with sitting headroom. There is a lot of storage beneath the forepeak berth and also a discrete place for a head. There are bronze opening ports and a lavish use of wood trim below. On deck there are two hatches and more storage under seat lockers. The cockpit is self-bailing and has a compartment for the fuel tank. The rudder is aluminum and kicks up. The mast is hinged on deck for quick and easy rigging. Construction is hand-laid fiberglass with longitudinal and transverse stringers for stiffness. The deck is cored for rigidity and insulation.
