General Description
This weekend cruiser is affordable and complete. The Bayliner 2252 Ciera Express offers a roomy cockpit and a bright, comfortable cabin with stand-up headroom. The full-length V-berth readily converts into a dinette. There's a private head compartment with a portable toilet, as well as a functional galley with sink, water system, and alcohol stove. The 2252 is ideal for family cruising. Every Bayliner is designed and built to meet or exceed all applicable standards of the US. Coast Guard and every one carries the certification seal of the National Marine Manufacturers Association. Everything from gel coats to carpeting is subjected to extreme climate exposure and stress testing far beyond the limits of normal use. The biggest test comes when the hull meets the water. The prototypes are put through grueling performance, handling, and endurance trials. Hull strength, ride characteristics, fuel efficiency, engine performance and more are all scientifically evaluated. Bayliner seals the transom opening during the lay-up process. Most builders simply cut an opening through the transom of a completed hull, exposing stiffening end grain and inviting decay. No exposed wood means longer hull life.

Actual Condition
It is reported the 2252 Ciera lived her life in freshwater in ME. The previous owners bought her new and kept her well-maintained throughout the years. It is also reported the entire vessel is clean and no known soft spots or major work is needed. She was in use this past season and would be a great boat for someone to continue to enjoy.
