“Wake my Day” is powered by twin Yamaha High Output 180HP EFI engines that her original owner added some performance modifications to that greatly enhance the handling characteristics, as well as user comfort in several key areas. First, the addition of Yamahas factory “steerable keel” is better than nothing(2014 and older models have no rudder), but the addition of the “THRUST VECTORS” make steering & handling her around the docks and in No-Wake zones a breeze! The extra-long fins(two per engine) maximize slow speed steering responsiveness, with built in pivoting spring-loaded design to ensure you will have added control at slow speeds, while no additional heaviness in steering at high speeds. In addition to the “Thrust-Vectors” there’s been Lateral Thrusters added that allows the jet boat to act like is has counter-rotating propellers when backing into a slip, or pulling alongside your favorite fuel dock or waterside restaurants! They dramatically enhance the reverse steering control, allowing you to pull from your experience driving a car in reverse!! They as well do not hang below the hull surface, nor hinder any high speed performance characteristics, as well as make it possible to spin the boat 180 degrees within her own hull length at a moment’s notice. In addition to that, you can back up hundreds of feet with full control and with ease, giving this particular 242 Limited S hands down advantages over her competitors & sister ships!! Lastly, on her performance advantages, and “JUST IN CASE”, there’s been added cooling water valves allowing you to transit home safely on one engine should one engine have trouble or its impellor becomes fouled from a tow line without causing major engine damage.

For added convenience & driver comfort, “Wake My Day” also features the Yamaha Connexts helm control system that is an easy to use all-in-one system that’s controlled by an LCD touch screen & Joy-stick control allowing the driver to easily & intuitively navigate all electronic functions of the boat. While underway, Connexts provides all critical information such as water depth, RPM’s, compass heading, speed, and more. Scrolling functions provide access to other important information including maximum speed attained, miles per gallon, gallons per hour, average speeds, trip odometer, elevation and engine temperatures, etc. The stereo system, also accessed through the multi-function display, has USB & Bluetooth connectivity, and radio capabilities that will pump sound through 4 cockpit speakers and 2 on the swim platform, in addition to 4 built into the tow tower!! Four cockpit speakers were recently upgraded to Sony marine high output speakers.

“Wake My Day” is equipped with every conceivable option offered on the 242 Limited S model. Beginning at the bow, the extra length and high bow lines creates a more comfortable, more spacious seating area for all passengers. The anchor locker/bow ladder compartment allows the anchor to be deployed easily without any interference from the rear boarding ladder on the stern. Numerous convenience features including SS cup holders everywhere, premium marine vinyl seating that is hinged for easy access to the expansive under seat storage compartments onboard. In front of the port helm chair there’s an entertainment console that offers lockable glove compartment, versatile netted storage area for coolers, a garbage bin, or gear bags. There’s also a fold down host table & beverage center that is perfect for serving drinks or food. Right in front of the port helm seat there is the largest head compartment ever offered on a Jet boat with a large solid, wide opening door for easy entry and exit that houses a marine porta-potti, as well as shelving & storage options.

Now, last but far from least, “Wake My Day” comes already equipped with ALL THE TOYS to jump straight on the water!! There’s a wake board, water skis, wake surf board, a three person cockpit style tube, a three person classic style tube, along with custom tow ropes for each sport. For added safety there’s also an additional high end wide angle removable ski mirror that conveys. All safety gear, life jackets, fenders for docking, and matching dock lines go with her!!

“Wake My Day” has been stored continuously inside an indoor Boatel almost her entire life. She’s been dealer maintained only, Soap and water washed after each use, and engines flushed religiously with Salt-Away after every use!! Waxed twice a year with all bright work polished at same time.   Her custom black hull have also had a custom wrap added to the aft third representing the American flag and eagle head that allows you to always fly the American flag when out on the water!! It can be easily removed should the next proud owners choose to not have the wrap, as well as original decals added back, custom striping, or just her beautiful uninterrupted gleaming black gelcoat!!  There’s also a custom factory ShoreLander dual-axle trailer that was just completely serviced with all critical components replaced including new wheel bearings, brakes, brake actuator, leaf springs and tongue jack. It is ready to go anywhere you wish to take her in comfort and safely to the final destination of your choice for several years to come!! Also included are multiple covers for protection including mooring cover that is trailerable shown in the photos, and also a winter cover to protect all from the winter elements should you need to store her outdoors for extended periods.
