- 1977
- Bayfield
Opis:
Winter stored inside a building and then, SHE WAS STORED IN A METAL BUILDING FOR 26 YEARS and is a FRESH WATER ONLY BAYFIELD 25. launched again in 2016 and used for two months. Fuel tank pumped out, so only two year old diesel fuel. She has a very low hour Yanmar Diesel, (approximately 500 hours). Range under power 250 mi. @ 1 quart diesel/hr. Cruising spd. 5 kts, max 6 kts.
Well equipped and a seaworthy pocket cruiser. She was built by the Bayfield yard in Canada in 1977. Sister ships have gone Trans-Atlantic, South America, and from NY to Hawaii. Construction is a heavy woven roving fiberglass hull with a one piece encapsulated lead ballast. No keel bolts to worry about. The original gelcoat, shows very well. The topsides of the hull are great! Excellent, like new interior teak and fabric, clean bilges. Practical interior with enclosed marine head and separate sink
She has a nice galley with icebox and a 2 burner Kenyon alcohol stove. She has the interior room of a much larger boat. At just under 6 foot of headroom she is unique for a 25 footer. The 3 foot draft makes this Pocket Yacht ideal for the waters in The North Channel, above Lake Huron.
This is a ONE OWNER BAYFIELD 25!
She is on her own double axle trailer and she has a gin pole for stepping the mast!
Come and see this time capsule today, as she is an extremely unique opportunity!
