General Description

The FAREAST 26 was the boat that started the successful partnership between FarEast Boats FRP Shanghai and the yacht designers Simonis-Voogd. This little yacht delivers in all areas and is a sporty and easy to sail keel boat, with beautiful lines so characteristic of the world renowned designs of Simonis-Voogd.

The boat’s smooth hull lines and features are developed from the many award winning racing and cruising yachts created by the designers over the last 30 years. The boat’s reasonably high freeboard and deep cockpit, means that she remains dry, even in tough conditions. All halyards and sheets lead into the cockpit and with the self-tailing winches, mean that sail handling and trimming are easy.

Down below, the FarEast26 offers standing headroom, five bunks, a separate closed off heads with toilet and basin and a galley and stove. There are ample hatches for ventilation and masses of storage for personal equipment. All in all the boat is comfortable and cosy and perfect for family cruising.

From a transportation perspective the boat is well thought out too. The boat is easy to tow, and launching is possible, directly from a slipway. It is possible to rig and launch the boat in 30 minutes, leaving more time for enjoyment on the water.

The FAREAST 26 was conceived to be unmatched in its class and out-performs the competition on all levels: quality, performance, comfort, design and price.

Actual Condition

This boat has been donated to a charity that we represent. It appears to be in very good condition and lightly used by the donor.
