Requista, 10mins from the house, is a small town with a good selection of shops, including a supermarket, cinema and a public swimming pool. It has a large market once a month, and a smaller one every week. There are also large weekly markets at nearby Carmaux and St Juéry.




The beautiful town of Albi (35mins drive) lies on the banks of the river Tarn and is a Unesco World Heritage site. The town has some excellent restaurants and a good selection of shops but it's best known for its cathedral.




The bustling city of Toulouse, with its airport, is 90mins drive.
