None of the original room dimensions have been altered, the walls stand where they have always stood, and the interior architectural detail has been conserved. The large stone cooking fireplace remains in the Georgian keeping room, as does the open dish cupboard, and the original wainscoting. There is a large garage/workshop, separate shed with wood storage at its end, and a diminutive greenhouse. This 1771 Cape is on a small knoll and the garden that surrounds it with old apple trees and stone wall and trellis somehow seem right. This home is a comfortable walk to a convenience store with cafe and liquor concession. A bit farther up the way is Sand Dollar Beach. A short drive down the road is Kingsburg and Hirtle's Beach, and not much more than fifteen minutes further up the road is the historic Town of Lunenburg.
