Enough Carver 32 Convertibles were sold over the years to make this a popular and well known model in most boating markets. The 32's styling is conservative however the below decks layout is innovative and inviting. Interior volume is increased by using V-drives to locate the engines beneath the cockpit rather than below the cabin sole. Hidden beneath the raised dinette, the Carver 32 features a mini-stateroom with limited standing headroom and a private access door from the galley. With that, she's an honest two stateroom boat-rare in any 32 footer. The compact galley is down from the salon level and includes a nearly full-size refrigerator. Note the separate stall shower in the head. A sliding glass door leads into the cockpit, where a transom door and swim platform were standard. Two lift-out hatches in the cockpit sole provide good service access to the engines, and the entire deck can be removed when necessary. Twin 270-hp gas engines will cruise the Carver 32 Convertibles around 17 knots, and she'll reach 26-27 knots wide open.
