The Islander MKII is a Bob Perry design built to last in southern California.  The Islander 32 MKII is a beautiful looking boat that has the classic traditional bow. The reverse transom flows naturally in the hull line and the modern beam is extended well aft. The 5'4\" fin keel and the large semi balanced rudder is positioned well aft for excellent steering control. The Islander 32 MKII is a fairly stiff boat with a ballast displacement ratio of 40 percent.

The Islander 32 has a comfortable cockpit with the pedestal placed well aft, which opens up the rest of the cockpit for easy maneuverability of the crew. She has been well maintained both inside and out. Exceptional pride has been taken in the uniqueness down below, from the custom hand-blown glass sink, to the leaded stained glass window entering the head. The dark teak cabinetry and caining that is unique to Islander enhances the genuine teak and holly floor that speaks to the quality of boats of this generation. Her wide beam makes her feel much larger than boats of equal length.
