This Niagara 35 Encore is like no other on the market, a bold statement that can only be realized when you actually tour the boat. Cared for and maintained by the original owners this boat is in “like new or better” condition. Careful and thoughtful improvements in instruments, refrigeration, water filtration, rigging, deck hardware, and electronics exemplify the concept of ‘Pride of Ownership”. As the pictures illustrate and your personal tour will confirm that this boat is “exceptional” among others in its class. “Mariposa” is a 1990 Encore version, which sets it apart from the earlier models. Custom ordered and built in 1990 (the second to last one built) this boat received several custom features specifically added with input from the owners.
Entering the cabin you will quickly notice what sets this apart from many other options! The floor plan of the main area presents a very open feeling, as the layout seamlessly blends the mast into a corner section of the head/cabin entrance point. Coming down the companionway, a full galley is to port and a Navigation Station is on the starboard side. Moving forward is the salon with a sofa lining both sides of the cabin. Pictured is a beautifully varnished centerpiece table that can fill the center space and provide dining space for both settees. An access door to the enclosed head/shower is on the port side, just before the entrance to the forward cabin. The forward cabin boasts a v-berth that can sleep two adults, a skylight, more than ample storage and a second access door to the head/shower, on the port side. Engine access is the best I have seen on a sailboat. The companionway steps can be removed, and a portion of the galley folds down to create a very accessible compartment. (the YouTube video illustrates the process.) The helm is a traditional, aft-cockpit arrangement with U-shaped bench seating, center positioned wheel, folding table, and rear access to a swim ladder. Under the seating is ample storage. Additional electronics placement adds to the ease of navigating and spending time in the cockpit.
Seller will provide a current Survey (August 2019) with any purchase offer presented. This gesture represents the seller’s confidence in the boat and will expedite any serious purchase offers.
