Whether you are looking for a capable day-sailing yacht that can handle the quick-changing conditions of the New England coastline, or a long distance ocean cruiser that can take you to virtually any destination in the world, the Carl Alberg designed Cape Dory 36 checks all the marks. They are remarkably well built, with a fit and finish that is both pleasing to the eye and comforting when you are miles from land. With her narrow beam, low freeboard and large overhangs, she will be as graceful idling against a mooring ball than rounding the Horn under triple-reefed main. Her brass fittings are both a homage to yachts of old and a testament to the care that went into her construction.

\"Rascal\" has been lovingly cared for by her owners, and awaits her next adventure. Notable updates to her inventory list include a Vesper XB8000 AIS transponder with Wifi, Group 27 deep cycle batteries (with new wiring 2016) and all teak work redone last fall. She's also undergone such work as New sinks (2016), New cockpit table and wheel (2015), New cowl vents at the stern (2016), New gaskets on hatches (2016).

The owners are retiring from sailing and would like the yacht to go to a good home. She's available for inspection here at our yard, in Noank, CT..
