“CURRENT PRICE” IS A GUIDE. ALL OFFERS RESPECTFULLY CONSIDERED.
General Description
This is a well- designed cutter, capable of offshore passages. She's stiff and secure, predictable in all conditions, with great performance to wind.
Actual Condition
Overall, the appearance of this 37' Hunter is in very good shape. Cosmetically, bright work needs some refinishing; however, it's in good condition. Stress cracks appear throughout decking but does not seem to have any evidence of water intrusion.
The mast is approximately 50' in length, made out of aluminum material, will need some repainting. All the rigging lines and cable appear to be in very good shape. However, no sails were inspected at this time. The canvas/bimini all appear in good condition, but was not completely seen.
Plastic is clear with no rips or tears. Owner stated there were two small tears in bimini when opened and all hatches have a canvas cover; in good shape. The stove and cook top were not checked but the owner stated they were in working condition. These units run from a propane tank which was stored separately in a back hatch in its own container.
All the cabinets were clean and free from any evidence of mold or water intrusion. The vessel has approximately 6'5\" height with a fiberglass ceiling. Forward and aft cabins also show well. The head has a Raritan with stand-up shower.
Engine was inspected; it is a Yanmar Diesel, Model 4 JHE, 44hp. Engine idled at approximately 800 rpm. All liquid levels appear to be clean and at proper levels. Engine showed well. No rust under oil pan or oil in bilge. After inspecting engine, the Hunter was started by owner at the dock with no issues.
She was inspected in the water, so bottom could not be inspected at this time. However, owner did point out the vessel was equipped with a breakaway shaft. Hot water heater was inspected; also, in very good condition. This is a great opportunity to own a well-appointed sailboat for cruising. Please inspect carefully before making an offer.
