Since the company’s founding in 2003 Meridians have been known for their edgy styling. Boat styling is a moving target, however, and what’s sexy today may appear dated in a few short years. Introduced in 2006, the sweeping lines of the Meridian 391 distinguish her from other boats in her class. With her short foredeck and long superstructure, the below decks accommodations are spacious indeed. Adding to that impression are the tiered side windows and large front windshield—the outside views are panoramic, but it’s a little like being in a giant fishbowl. The two-stateroom floor plan of the 391 Sedan consists of a step-down galley forward of the salon, opposite an elevated dinette. The guest stateroom—which has a queen bed—extends beneath the dinette so headroom here is minimal. Note that the head is split in this layout with the shower stall on one side and the sink/toilet on the other. A lower helm is optional in place of the dinette. In the cockpit, the flybridge staircase lifts for access to the engine room. Lounge seating on the huge bridge can accommodate a small crowd.
