Location
Villa Giannella is situated in one of the most exclusive areas of the Tuscan Coast, Monte Argentario, in a panoramic position with splendid views and private access to the sea. Surely the dream of any sea lover.
The villa is immersed in a splendid pinewood, in the thin panhandle of Giannella.
The closest town is Albinia only a 3 minute-drive away, where you can find all useful first need services such as shops, supermarket, restaurants, bank and post office.
Orbetello is only 15 minutes away and it represents another nice centre in the province of Grosseto, located inside a natural reserve and which offers services, other than various panoramic spots with breath taking views over the sea and the surrounding landscape. One view not to miss is without a doubt the view from the ‘Convento dei Passionisti’, on top of Monte Argentario.
Monte Argentario is in the province of Grosseto, located about 150km south of Florence and about 35km south of Grosseto.
A former island off the coast of Tuscany, is now connected to the mainland via three narrow sandbars. Nearby are the renowned islands of Giannutri and Giglio and in the whole area there are plenty of things to see and do. The two main towns on the peninsula are Porto Ercole, a fishing village that comes alive in the summer months, and the busier Porto Santo Stefano.
About 80km north of Monte Argentario, always in the province of Grosseto but on the main land, there is Punta Ala, a renowned seaside location very famous for the well-equipped marina and regattas organized by the Yacht Club Punta Ala, and, of course, its crystal clear sea water. The beach is about 8 km long, it is dotted with beach resorts and flanked by pine trees.
Immersed in the beautiful greenery of Maremma there is the Golf Club Punta Ala, one of the most beautiful of Tuscany and perhaps of Italy.
Especially in summer Punta Ala becomes a popular destination for elite tourism, thanks to the luxurious resorts and the opportunity to moor your boat at the port, where there are numerous boutiques of the most prestigious Italian fashion brands https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attractions-g194871-Activities-Punta_Ala_Castiglione_Della_Pescaia_Province_of_Grosseto_Tuscany.html.
The province of Grosseto offers other famous and touristic towns, like Castiglione della Pescaia and Follonica. In Castiglione della Pescaia there is the Luxury Resort ‘L’Andana’, member of an international brand of luxury hotels http://www.andana.it/en/l-andana. At about 45km to the north of Punta Ala, from the port of Piombino, you can also sail to the Island of Elba taking about an hour to reach it.
