The Irwin 46 MKII is a ketch rigged, shoal draft keel with a heavyduty rudder and Perkins fresh water cooled diesel engine.

Chili Pepper's masts have been pulled polished , rewired and rerigged for offshore cruising .The sails were new a few years ago , portlights,windows and hatches replaced throughout the vessel .

All of the interior trim and bulkheads are teak with a teak and holly sole throughout. There is a very nice galley, and a large owner's aft stateroom with double berth, hanging lockers, vanity and a private head with stall shower.
