General Description
The J46 was awarded Cruising World Magazine’s prestigious “Best in Class” award in 2000 for good reason! As the judges stated “Sailing the J/46 confirmed quickly for us that it's a beautiful, well-tooled cruising yacht with the balanced responsiveness of a performance racer. The J/46 is first-class all-around.”
Quality-built offshore racer cruiser, these boats have been sailing around the globe, and are just as comfortable coastal cruising with the family!
Actual Condition
It is reported this great-looking J46 was damaged in Hurricane Irma. She suffered numerous scratches and dings on the hull and decks. She suffered damage in a few areas of the hull from boats stands and has a couple temp patches. There was some standing rain water in the cabin and bilge. Some of the lower wood work is water-stained. Some stanchions and the bow pulpit suffered damage.
The mast has been inspected and is reported to be in good shape. Some of the rigging will need repair. Overall, this is a very repairable boat and should be a great opportunity for a sailor with some experience doing their own repairs.
Prior to the storm the boat had several upgrades, such as:
- New dodger, bimini
- Sun shades
- Sun tents
- Sail cover tender w/ 8 hp
- Anchor Fridge
- Spring mattress in forward berth
- Blinds, and many more.
She is being sold as-is, with all equipment presently on board. Make an offer now!
