The market towns of Hesdin and Frevent are also within easy reach.






The surrounding countryside of the Canche Valley in which the town lies (or the land of the Seven Valleys, as the area is often called), is especially beautiful, and within reach of many of the region's best attractions. The stretch of coast between Calais and the River Somme (Côte d'Opale) can lay claim to having some of the best beaches in France with miles of unspoilt sand and endless horizons where the sea seems to melt into the sky. Try the popular Stella or Berck beaches for a stroll or a dip if you are feeling brave.
