Villa Pian di Scò is a very charming villa built in 1684, used for many years as a ‘retreat’ for nuns and monks of Tuscany. It has been carefully and entirely restored in 2010 by the current owners maintaining the classical Tuscan exterior façade, while re-designing the interiors choosing stylish and contemporary furniture.

It measures about 380 m2 in total and it is organized as follows:

- On the ground floor there is the entrance hall, followed by a cosy living room with fireplace, a study to be used as 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, the modern, spacious kitchen with dining area, kitchen island and another fireplace, a laundry with a second dishwasher and fridge. From the entrance a staircase of original ‘pietra serena’ (ancient stone) leads up to the first floor;
- On the first floor there is a large living/sitting room with open fireplace, the master bedroom with bathroom and another bedroom with private bathroom with a modern steel staircase leading up to the tower;
- The tower is currently being used as an extra bedroom and, of course, it offers amazing views over the valley.

The cellar can be reached via a staircase from both inside and outside the villa.
The garden surrounding the villa measures about 1.8 hectares. It is fenced with an electric gate and it offers wonderful views of the surrounding landscape over the Arno Valley. It includes more than 100 olive trees, several sun terraces, fruit trees and a gazebo.
There is a 6×12 mt panoramic swimming pool and an outdoor open fireplace that can be used as a barbecue.
The villa is also equipped with a modern alarm system and A/C on the first floor.

The location of Villa Pian di Scò is really strategic: in fact, it is situated in the small village of Pian di Scò, only 40km from Florence and from the Medieval town of Arezzo, other than being less than 30km away from Greve in Chianti, one of the most renowned and popular city of the Chianti region.

Pian di Scò is in the province of Arezzo, a famous medieval city known for the paintings of Piero della Francesca, Francesco Petrarca and Giorgio Vasari. It’s a meeting point between the Casentino Valley, the Tiber Valley, the Arno Valley and the Chiana Valley, crossed by numerous rivers, alternating with flat, hilly and mountainous areas. The city enjoys an enviable landscape heritage. The medieval old town is flanked by numerous sixteenth-century buildings on which stands the Duomo.
