This 52’ cockpit motor yacht is truly a one of a kind custom Hatteras that has undergone an extensive refit. The interior was completely redone with all new custom teak cabinetry, flooring, and walls. A custom office was created in place of the old dinette and the windows were replaced with one piece frameless glass. The galley includes granite countertops, under cabinet lighting, and updated appliances. Both heads include updated granite countertops with plumbing and fixtures replaced. The staterooms were customized to include built-in storage, flat screen TVs, satellite receivers, stereos, and cedar lined closets. The salon features plenty of lighting, large flat screen TV, audio/video equipment, patina copper serving countertops, and a built-in lighted wine rack. The cedar lined utility room offers extra storage for maintenance items and gear as well as a washer/dryer combination. BreakAway is docked under cover and routinely waxed so her paint is in great shape. She is lightly cruised and her Detroit Diesel 8v92’s are in excellent condition and have only 2719 Port and 2748 Starboard original hours. An added built-in fuel tank offers a generous total of 1065 gallons for long range cruising. The hardtop above the aft deck provides a large unobstructed area to carry water toys like kayaks or paddleboards. The cockpit is set up with 5 rod holders in the gunwale, 4 rocket launchers on the upper handrails for fishing capability, and has a TNT hydraulic swim platform attached to the transom.

In December 2017, the boat was hauled for the running gear inspection, through hull service, and a bottom job. The bottom was totally stripped down and recoated with four barrier boats and two finish coats of Pettit Trinidad pro paint. Accompanying this vessel are her original blueprints and owner’s manual detailing the operating equipment and systems.
