\"CARISSMA\" is powered by the reliable Detroit Diesel 8V-92'S that are up to date on their maintenance, with approx. 1000 hrs.   She was recently updated with fresh hull side fighting lady yellow paint job with black book stripe, cloud white top side paint, freshly painted non-skid decks, with all metals & bright work removed & powder coated.   The bridge was completely redone with new helm chairs, new upholstery cushions, and new high quality enclosures on custom tracks to slide open on the sides.     There was an extensive new electronics package installed for over $30K that includes twin Garmin 7616 touch screen HD displays with chart plotter, HD open array 72ml radar, satellite weather, & more!!  There's also Garmin CHIRP sonar transducer along with Clearvu Sidescan technology fish finders, and a Garmin auto pilot that is integrated with the 7616 chart plotters.    Everything fully integrated with the latest NEMA technology as well.   For communication there are two ICOM VHF radios for redundancy, along with ICOM SSB radio, with a back up Garmin color chart plotter overhead for back up & redundancy.  There's also a Clarion stereo with blue tooth capabilities and new speakers throughout for entertainment along the way.  She's rigged to take you anywhere and do anything with the latest technology offered!!
