Opis:

     The Karisma has been owned by the same yachtsman since it was one year old. She has spent the last 6 years up North in fresh water under a covered Shed. She was brought back to Florida in the spring of 2019. The owners decided they would do some major updates in Florida and then do some extensive Bahamas cruising. Firstly they brought the boat to the boatyard and had the bottom painted, all the portholes were removed from the hull sides, they were resealed and reinstalled. The props were removed, tweeked, balanced, and reinstalled. Under water lights were installed and a new thru hull for the up coming water maker installation was added. Additionally, a oversized Side Power stern thruster was added and any fiberglass chips or spider cracks were repaired. The boat was then splashed and the following items were added in June 2019.  The old KVH satellite TV antenna was removed and updated with an Intellian I4 unit. A SeaView mount was added to the new I4 antenna to elevate it slightly. The dummy dome on the other side of the radar arch was removed, repainted to match the New Intellian antenna, and a new Sea View mount was added to this dome as well. The old Radar scanner was removed and replaced with a Garmin 72 mile radar also with a new SeaView base to elevate it.  The old Chart plotters from upper and lower stations were removed and replaced with Garmin 7612 Multi Function displays. Both upper and lower VHF radios were removed and replaced with Garmin vhf radios and they were tied into the NMEA 2000 system. The latest Garmin XM antenna was installed to provide Weather data and XM music. A Fusion AV650 audio system was installed on the flybridge and tied into all Garmin displays and the XM signal and new speakers were installed on the aft deck overhang. The latest Garmin Engine room camera was installed and is visible on both displays. A stern thruster module was installed in the Wireless yacht controller so it will control the stern thruster along with bow thruster, and gears. The old Icemaker on the flybridge was remove and replaced with New. The cable and cable drum was replaced on the davit. A New Global Fix EPIRB was purchased and a New Flare kit.

    The following was added in the Engine Room in June 2019. A Cruisers 600 gallon per day water maker was installed.  Two group 31 batteries were added with an independent battery charger for the newly added stern thruster. The two house 8D batteries were replaced with six group 31 batteries with new battery trays. This gave more Reserve amperage for the inverter as well. Most wiring and large amperage fuse blocks were replaced with new in this area. The remaining four 8D batteries, four group 31 bow thruster batteries, and group 27 generator battery were also all removed and replaced. A total of 17 batteries were replaced. A new Sealand diaphragm waste pump was installed to empty the holding offshore. A new fresh pump, water tank gauge, and sending unit were also installed. A new raw water pump was installed on the generator.

     After completing all these upgrades in June of 2019 the owners proved the boat with a month long trip to the Bahamas. However, a change of plans makes this Turn Key boat ready for her next owner.
