On the upper level is the beautiful terrace with the pergola and the infinity pool which are oriented towards the sunset. This is a wonderful place to chill out with a book, cradled by the sound of the sea, a perfect place to enjoy a romantic dinner or lunch. The pergola is big enough to accommodate twelve people for lunch or dinner and is next to the pool area. The infinity pool (15 x 4.5 x meters) is surrounded with teak sun loungers and teak sofa and has an outdoor teak shower.

The outdoor main stairway leads to three spacious guest houses and the stone built room on the ground level, all surrounded by a charming veranda.

The Upper Level Apartment

Entering the apartment on the right hand side is a large bedroom overlooking the sea and with views of the sunset. Next to it is the spacious marbled bathroom. On the left hand side is a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room area for eight persons and a sitting area with a fireplace and a magnificent view. All the furniture is custom made, carefully selected from Bali.

The Ground Level Apartments

South Suite
This apartment has a teak double bed, a sitting area, breakfast area and a magnificent bathroom.

Central Suite
The central suite is a big apartment that could easily accommodate four people. It has one private bedroom with a double bed and one open bedroom with two single beds. The marble bathroom also has a small outdoor area. The sitting area is next to a fully equipped kitchen.

North Suite
This studio apartment has a bedroom with a double bed and a cozy sitting area, as well as a comfortable bathroom.

Stone Built Bedroom-Bathroom
To the North and next to the main structure is the distinctive stone bedroom with its two beds and a delightful private outdoor area with flowers. Next to the bedroom is the bathroom.

LOCATION

The villa has the wonderful advantage of complete privacy, a very unusual feature on such a busy island. There are no houses in the view towards the sea and there is no noise from neighboring properties as there are very few houses in the area. The location combines the charmingly primitive aspect of the Cyclades, while being just minutes away from the famous Mykonos nightclubs and restaurants!

Facing west, you will enjoy a beautiful sunset. The north wind, usually intense in August, is blowing on the side of the building, making it much milder in the areas of the pergola and the swimming pool.

Nearby is Ano Mera village. There, one can shop at a good supermarket and buy fresh bread at the local bakery. There are also grocery stores as well as the village pharmacy. In the centre of the village is a range of small tavernas where you can enjoy Greek cuisine and fresh fish or casual Greek food.

The fabulous beaches of the island are in close proximity. Ftelia beach is within a 5 minutes drive, whilst Kalo Livadi and Elia beach are around 15 minutes drive.

MYKONOS TOWN

The town of Mykonos, the capital of the island, has something for everyone and some of everything! With its endless winding little streets, apparently laid out this way to confuse pirates, it has a charm all of its own. The streets are filled with attractive small shops, stunning bougainvillea, little cafes and churches. Some open up to a square, where there may be restaurants, bars and a church, or to the harbour front, with its colourful fishing boats and, nearby, the famous row of windmills.

Apart from the many souvenir shops, catering for the cruise ships as well as the many visitors staying in hotels and guest houses, there are excellent shopping facilities to serve all requirements, together with banks, the Post Office, medical facilities and leisure amenities.

The harbours, almost always busy, are great focal points, where you can enjoy a drink whilst watching all the activity. Ferries are arriving and departing constantly and add to the colourful scene.

History is not forgotten and there is an archaeological museum with exhibits ranging from the prehistoric to the late Hellenistic period.

Mykonos Town, or Mykonos Chora, also has a lively night life, with its many busy bars and clubs but, if that is not to your liking, you can enjoy the sunset and peacefulness by the pool of your own beautiful home, 12 kms away!
