Built in 1863, for Achille Fould, finance minister and minister of the House of the Emperor, this chalet is the second one of a serie, after the Emperor's one. It is situated in a very prestigious site in Vichy, the west and south walls are facing the Napoleon III Prak. Only 150m from the 'Grand Casino'.
It has been conceived by the architect Lefaure, with a 'Savoy' design. All the main rooms are overlooking the park. On the boulevard side, there is a wooden balcony with balusters. The chalet is listed (Monument Historique).
It has belonged to the same family since 1885, lots of renowned people have visited the chalet, in particular the Russian court.
- Ground floor : large entrance hall with staircase. Overlooking the park : sitting room 27m2 communicating with the dining room of 29m2 with marble fireplace.
