Country farm of 115.11 HA currently working, comprised of 9.2 HA of arable land, 35.6 HA of trees, coppice 58.7 HA. Breeding of horses, poultry farm, and production of organic vegetables. The center also hosts several business activities. Located in the area of the Valle del Tenes, in the natural reserve of Sant Miguel del Fai, 47 km from Barcelona. It is composed of five separate entities: "LA MASIA" of 70.58 HA; "EL MOLINO" of 3.78 HA; "LA FRANJA DEL MOLINO" of 9.72 HA; "EL SAGRADO CORAZON", an old hydroelectric building now abandoned, of 3.40 HA; "EL CAMPO DE TIRO-BABOT" of 14 HA. "La Masia" of 1100 m2, is a building from the 17th Century with South-West orientation, distributed on three floors. On the ground floor there is a large entry hall, three large lounges that give on the internal courtyard, a large kitchen (fully equipped), 2 full bathrooms and a South oriented terrace with wonderful view. On the first floor there is the master en-suite bedroom with private bathroom, two additional bedrooms, one full bathroom and a service bathroom, a large library room, meeting room and television room. On the second floor there are two studios equipped as office (with telephone and fax lines), two guest bedrooms, one bathroom, a gym, two small lounges, a music room and a billiard room. The majority of the rooms are furnished with antique furniture and paintings. The house includes a chapel, with access from the 75 sqm courtyard that is used also as space to listen to organ concert (the chapel has a very good acoustic). The chapel has sufficient space for 50 people. A natural cellar, very well known in the area, stores wine and cava at the optimal temperature. With the surface of around 70 sqm, the cellar receives fresh water directly from a mountain spring, which has turned part of the cellar into a cave. There is a project to use the cellar for wine and cava tasting courses. The swimming-pool is 25 sqm long and 3 m wide and is located in an area of the garden where the guests can relax. A separate building is equipped as conference center, with large conference rooms, coffee break area, bathrooms and a small, equipped kitchen. Additional areas across the other buildings are dedicated to space for natural therapy treatments; offices and archive; guest rooms; retail sale for ecological products; and additional meeting rooms. The old "MASOVER�A" of 463 sqm includes stables, warehouses, barns, and horse riding area. The Ranch currently offers riding lessons of different types. Activities currently carried out in the center include: natural treatments (anti-stress, hydrotherapy, psicological support, etc.); training courses and conferences; ecological studies; manufacturing and sale of ecological products; horse riding courses; agricultural production and animal husbandry (horses, sheep, bees, chickens) The water supply comes from own springs on the left bank of the river Tenes, collected by drainage system and conduction system. ABOUT THE AREA Sant Quirze Safaja is located in the Valles Oriental in Catalunya. It is part of a natural environment of around 1300 Ha. The highest altitude is 870m and the lowest 600. The altitude of the village of Sant Quirze Safaja is 650 m. It is an atypical village, without urban center apart from a street. This allows the wood to be present in all the village areas. The population currently amounts to 648 people, although it gets much busier during Summer months. The area enjoys a Mediterranean climate, with an average of 700 mm/year of rain and Eastern winds. Barcelona is 47 km far and the El Prat international airport is 62 km far. The thermal town of Caldes de Montbui is 16 km away, Granollers is 29 km far.
