Itinerante was built in 1963 by Gebr Paans, NV. in Moerdijk, Neatherlands. 

• It's a tug of 117 gross tons, powered by a pair of MWM Deutz engines giving 1,193.6 kW/1,600 hp through variable pitch single screw propeller.
• The vessel was designed for harbor towage services -  inland water and coastal water.
•  Itinerante I has a Dravo Transmission that gives her the capability of motoring to a job site while only using one US gallon per nautical mile -. Providing a major cost saving per operations.
• The Dutch government has invest $ 4,500,000 in upgrades prior to purchase by the current owner.
