Afan Valley Adventure Resort is an exciting new development in Afan Valley, South Wales. Situated on 485 acres of open countryside and luscious forest, the Afan Valley Adventure Resort sees the creation of 500 self-contained lodges, 222 land plots and 100 luxury hotel rooms. It will be a spectacular new adventure and leisure park, home to a selection of world-class facilities and the completion of the resort is set for Q2 2020.
This resort will be one of the biggest and most thrilling outdoor adventure parks in the UK. From adrenaline fuelled adventures, to relaxing spa treatments, there really is something for everyone at this exceptional new resort.
Afan Valley Adventure Resort has been segmented into 6 main areas: The Alpine Zone, The Forest Zone, The Trails Zone, The Xtreme Zone, The Zen Zone and the Central Plaza. The first four zones feature indoor and outdoor activities for guests of any age and any level of experience. The resort will include an aqua adventure park, a trampoline park, ski slopes, off-roading activities, canoeing, zip wire, high ropes, an indoor climbing wall, a BMX and skate park, mountain biking circuits, bars and restaurants, children's soft play and so much more!
The Zen Zone will be a place of relaxation designed by one of the world's-leading spa designers and the 5* star hotel will include a conference centre and spa. The Central Plaza will be the heartbeat of the resort, and provide guests with the opportunity to wine, dine, shop and take a break from the outdoor pursuits. Along with the shopping and dining facilities. At night, the centre will really come alive with street parties, stalls, parades and live music. There will also be a variety of retail units which will feature iconic global brands, high street franchises and major food corporations.
The are two types of investment purchases for this resort which are lodges and land plots. Investors can choose from four bespoke lodges which have been influenced by the four main activity zones. The lodges are available from £175,000 and investors receive 8% NET returns p.a. for 10 years.
Land plots are available from £25,000 and guarantee investors 10% NET returns for 3 years.
Plus to make the adventure resort even more exciting, TV survival expert, Bear Grylls, has developed 20 bespoke special activities for guests to experience within the resort's official Bear Grylls Survival Academy.
The resort will be overseen by leisure industry visionary Peter Moore OBE, best known for his key role in bringing Center Parcs to the UK and making Alton Towers a global success.
Lodges
A unique investment opportunity, the development will see the creation of 500 contemporary lodges representing the four distinctive activity zones: The Alpine Zone, The Forest Zone, The Trails, Zone and The Xtreme Zone. The exterior of the building has been created by one of the UK's leading builders of park homes and will feature all the latest technology and accessories. Also, the interior of the lodges has been carefully created by top designers with state of the art furnishings and decorations. Investors are guaranteed a complete hands-off investment and have the option to choose from a lodge with 2, 3 or 4 bedrooms. Additionally, the resort will be created over four development phases and will be built with easy access to the central commercial areas and adventure facilities.
For lodges, investors receive 8% NET returns p.a. for up to 10 years with a 125% buy back option from year 10. As an added bonus, investors are permitted to 2 weeks free usage per annum from completion, providing a chance to experience the adventure resort and everything it has to offer. This can be used for one week in the high season (1st May - 31st October) and one week in the low season (1st November 21st December or 2nd January - 30th April). There is also a 125% buy back option in year 10 and prices for the lodges are £175,000 - £259,000.
Land plots
There are 222 land plots to invest in with a purchase price from £25,000. The land plots are around 300spm - 500spm and are situated in the brand new Afan Valley Adventure Resort in the South Wales countryside. Investing for up to three years, investors receive a mark-up of 10% per annum on the value of their investment. At the end of year three, there is a contractual sell back option where the developer will buy out the investor at 125%.
