Location description
The medieval village of Panicale is approx. 500 msl, located on the border between Umbria and Tuscany to the south of Lake Trasimeno, defined as the most beautiful natural terrace of Umbria and listed among the most beautiful villages in Italy.

The church of St. Sebastian houses one of the masterpieces by the painter Pietro Vannucci (“Perugino”), “The Martyrdom of St. Sebastian”.
The municipality (with the same name as the town), is crossed by hills and valleys, but also mountains and lakes/rivers.
In the summer there are festivals and concerts. Don’t miss Trasimeno Blues where different concerts tour around the cities around the lake.
In Panicale there are cafes, grocery store, butcher, tobacconist, post office, bank, barbershop, and four restaurants, two high-level.
