Opis:

The postholder will have responsibility and accountability for ‘first line’ risk and compliance defence for all Fund Services business conducted across Jersey and Guernsey. Be the line manager for the existing Fund Services Risk Officer and work as an integral part and key member of the Fund Services business, ensuring close liaison with the separate Solutions Risk & Compliance function.

Responsibilities –

Compliance person (CO / MLRO / MLCO as appropriate) to client funds and managed entities contracted to EFGFS

Attend client funds and managed entities board meetings as Compliance person / representative of the company’s compliance services

Presentation of Compliance Reports to client funds and managed entities boards

Review / sign-off of New Business submissions before they are submitted to the New Business Committee

Review / pre-approval of correspondence with the JFSC / GFSC relating to client matters

Review / approve fund applications etc. to JFSC / GFSC

Review / approve CDD for business (fund / client + fund investors)

Review / Sign off of Periodic Client Reviews of business

Oversee on-boarding of new business

Ownership and oversight of company’s membership of the Channel Islands Securities Exchange, ensuring appropriate policies and procedures are maintained

Ownership and maintenance of policies and procedures, and Client entity procedures etc

Oversight and monitoring of FSB entities in line with FSBs’ own procedure manuals

Review, and where appropriate design and implement changes to, practices to ensure that all funds’ business is conducted in line with regulatory and legal obligations
