Two story Austrian style chalet with 7.4 acres of land available close to Puerto Plata. This marvelous place is located on the 'Routa Touristica' which is only a few miles away from the international airport of Puerto Plata on the north coast of the Dominican Republic.
The 2-floor chalet was built in a form of a square with two towers at the backyard and a large indoor patio including a Jacuzzi, a fountain and flowers. Established on a massive concrete platform, the house is secure against any kind of earthquake or hurricane. High ceilings on both floors keep the temperature in the rooms cool throughout the year. Even in the hottest months you will not need any air condition. Nevertheless if you need some refreshment you can jump into the huge swimming lagoon and enjoy the water running down from several cascading waterfalls directly to your back. Or if you are just looking for a quick refreshment then the indoor Jacuzzi with its fresh water will make you forget the world around you. At the moment, the chalet is operated as a hotel and has 6 large fully furnished bedrooms (each around 45m2) with in suite bathrooms, walk-in closets and Satellite TV. Extension of two more bedrooms is possible. A guest toilet is situated on each floor. The big living room with kitchen and dining room are built in the shape of a triangle (130m2). The dining room for hotel guests is about 60m2. Two large terraces, one of them situated on top of a tower invite you to enjoy the colorful landscape. Fitness room fully furnished. The electricity is supplied by a 10 KW solar energy power plant. Together with a 25 KW back up diesel generator, public electricity, a well with fresh potable water and a septic treatment of the sewage, no public service is needed. As a result the running costs are very low which few similar properties in this price bracket offer.
