The area is ideal for nature lovers, with hardly any industry, just peace and quiet. The small village has about 200 inhabitants only and your shopping can be done in the next village or town. Within 30 minutes drive you can be on the M3, as well as in Miskolc. The beautiful city of Kosice in Slovakia, with it's nice centre, is certainly worth a visit. Nice area for hikers, mountain - and motor bikers. Time stood still in this part of the world where you can ride or walk for hours and hours.

The village is slightly depleted over the years, but several foreigners have recently purchased their (second) home here.
