The grounds are fully enclosed and run down to the river banks with a stone barn providing shelter to one side. To the front of the house is a pretty, cottage style garden which faces west and is full of colour and interest, along with some imposing mature trees to provide much needed shade in the summer months.
A small wooden bridge leads across to the island which has its own tree house! Across the river from the island is a wild bank that is included with the property and so means that access to the river (perhaps for fishing) is totally private.
At the side of the property is a grassed paddock (which would be an ideal place to install a swimming pool if required) with fruit trees and a boules court.
The property has just one near neighbour and is only 5 minutes drive from the village of Busserolles which has a bar/restaurant, post office and boulangerie. The nearest supermarket can be reached in 10 minutes whilst the international airport at Limoges can be reached in only 45 minutes.
