The inner gates of the property date back to the 11th century whilst the towers are slightly more recent, being constructed in the 13th and 14th centuries along with some parts of the main building. The restoration took over 5 years to complete and the owner strived to maintain the integrity of this important structure.

A fully equipped modern kitchen leads out to one of the five panoramic terraces that all offer south facing views over the lake and mountain ranges that can only be described as breathtaking. One of the five is occupied by a 10 x 4 metre swimming pool.
